About the Isca School of English
The Isca School of English is one of the oldest independent English schools in the UK. It is based in Exeter, in the South-West of England.
The grandparents of the present Principal, Sarah Tomlinson, founded our English school in 1966. Sarah works with her parents Richard and Jo, who live at the school and are all always available to our students. The school is our life’s work and it is a job we enjoy!
Isca is open from June to August with summer courses for juniors and teenagers (aged 12-17).
We offer international classes are at all levels from Elementary to Advanced (CEFR Course Level: from A2 to C2)
What does Isca offer my child?
We offer a very friendly atmosphere, excellent English teaching, interesting excursions and a varied social programme. We give personal attention to all our students and their parents.
Where will my child study?
We have two Georgian houses with a small classroom building standing between them. The school has large gardens and is in a quiet residential area 10 minutes’ walk from Exeter city centre.
