Welcome to our Summer 2024 Recap!
This year was truly one for the books. From sunny days exploring Exeter and beyond, to the joy of learning English in a lively, international atmosphere, every moment was special. Thank you to all the students, teachers, and staff who made it so incredible. Let’s take a look back at the memories we’ve created together!
From the very first day when you arrived—full of excitement and curiosity—to the final farewell, it’s been a true joy watching each of you grow, both in your English skills and as individuals. You came from all corners of the world, brought your unique perspectives, and added something special to our school community. Together, we explored Exeter, embarked on thrilling excursions, and, most importantly, formed friendships that I hope will last a lifetime.
In this blog, I’m excited to share some of the highlights from our summer—the moments that made me smile, the achievements that made me proud, and the fun that made this summer so unforgettable. I can’t thank you enough for the energy, enthusiasm, and spirit you brought to Isca. It’s because of you that Summer 2024 was such a success.

Behnind the Scenes:
It takes months of careful planning and a passionate team to make every Isca Summer School a success. My job is to make sure that the summer runs like clockwork, leaving students to focus on what they enjoy most—learning and making memories.
However my favourite part of the Summer is talking to the young people who come to learn with us. This is one of my favourite photos of the Summer of me chatting with our brilliant Cambridge Exam candidates who were all a little bit nervous about their speaking exam!
Looking Ahead to 2025
While Summer 2024 has come to an end, the memories live on – and we’re already looking forward to making Summer 2025 even more exciting!
